What the Beerdrinker says:

The beer pours with a typical lager head that vanishes almost immediately.  It smells enigmatically of bread and honey, with hints of licorice.  It has a really pleasant and intriguing nose.  It tates strongly of treacle with aniseed .  Once you get over the shock of its not tasting like a commercial lager, it is quite pleasant.  Once it is left for a while, it becomes even sweeter.
