What the label says:

Flemish Old Brown- A typical Flemish beer with a pleasant wine-like taste and a rich past.  This dark brown beer which is matured in oak casks has a slightly acid aftertaste.

What the Beerdrinker says:

The beer has a really cherry nose, almost smelling of cough syrup or Cherry Sourz.  As with all Belgian beers it has a yeasty nose to it.  It’s quite a sticky beer, more like a cherry cider.  It tastes exactly as it smells, a rich cherry beer, that would go with dark choclate or a Black Forest Gateaux.  A drink for Christmas morning.
