What the Beerdrinker says:

This is a very dark beer for one that describes itself as Amber Ale.  It has a good tight foamy head and a really caramel nose.  There is very little front of mouth taste to this beer, but a very bitter finish gives way to a warming after taste of toffee apples and bananas followed by a second bitter after sensation.  A very interesting and complex beer.
