What the label says:

Brewed by Richard Frost, complex and refreshing with a light citrus tang and a lingering hoppy after taste.

What the Beerdrinker says:

For a pale ale, this is a very dark ruby coloured ale.  Unlike most Kentish beers it retains its head right to the bottom of the glass.

Its nose is very hoppy with no discernible citrus aromas.  Its very smooth with caramel overtones and a hoppy taste.  It manages to have both complex bitter and sweet flavours at the same time.  After being left to stand, the nose becomes maltier and the taste more citric.
