What the label says:

Brewed by Britain’s oldest brewer, Spitfire Gold is a well balanced golden ale.  Its sweet malt base is complemented by its suitable bitterness and tropical aromas imputed by some of the world’s favourite hops including Challenger, Centennial and Saaz.

What the Beerdrinker says:

A typical Kentish ale with no head worth mentioning.  It has a nose that is totally hops.  It’s immediate taste is of zesty marmalade,  but once this passes there is little else of note.  It has no significant aftertaste.  There is no complexity to this beer, what you get on the initial mouthful is the sum total of the whole beer.  There’s not a lot going on with this beer.
