What the label says:

Butty Bach is a Welsh term for ‘little friend’ and this moreish bottle conditioned brew certainly has made a few friends in its time!  Burnished gold in colour, smooth and satisfying in taste.  ‘Butty’ is a beer with a perfect malt and hop balance.

What the Beerdrinker says:

The only part of the blurb on the label with which the Beerdrinker agrees is that the beer is gold in colour and is smooth.   It has very little nose, pretty much of nothing in particular.  In fact, if blindfolded you might think you’d been given a glass from which someone has already drunk the beer.   The taste is bland, with hints of sweetness and creamy butter.  It tastes more like a generic mass produced lager, than the premium ale of a microbrewery which it claims to be.  It is totally inoffensive, but nevertheless disappointing.
